Khnenpo Khyentse was born in 1964 in Tukuche in northern Nepal. In 1993 , he joined Namdroling monastery and entered the Ngagyur Nyingma Institute for nine year of Buddhist philosophy study. After he completed his studies in 1993, Penor Rinpoche enthroned him him with the title of Khenpo. He helped in management of the monastery from 1995-2003. In 2010, he made an aspiration to build a school Shree Nalanda Buddist School, in his home town Tukuche. he took his Penor Rinpoche as the role model. At the school, Khenpo takes full responsibility for the students, including food, health care, clothing and textbooks, Shree Nalanda Buddhist School was established in March 15th, 2011. Khenpo Khyentse strated school with 30 students in March 2011
